Terms of Service
Effective date: July 31, 2026. These terms cover use of the CertTrainer web app at certtrainer.app, a service operated by Pickard Softworks.
The service
CertTrainer provides CompTIA certification practice quiz questions, exam simulators, and progress tracking. We currently offer trainers for CompTIA Network+ (N10-009) and CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1201) and Core 2 (220-1202), with more exams planned. A free tier is available for each trainer without an account.
What a purchase includes
Each trainer is sold separately as a one-time purchase. Buying a trainer unlocks the full question bank for that exam only — for example, purchasing the Network+ trainer does not unlock the A+ trainer, and vice versa. The A+ trainer is the single exception: one purchase covers both Core 1 (220-1201) and Core 2 (220-1202), since CompTIA treats them as two halves of one certification.
Pay once. No recurring fee. Access includes the purchased certification trainer and future updates for that certification while CertTrainer operates and supports the trainer.
Accounts
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity under your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.
Payments and refunds
All payments are handled by Stripe; we don't receive or store your card details. If you believe you were charged in error, or you have a problem with a purchase, email us at pickardsoftworks@outlook.com and we'll work it out on a case-by-case basis.
14-day refund guarantee. If a trainer isn't what you expected, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked, and no need to explain yourself. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, and access to that trainer ends when the refund is issued.
Nothing here limits any statutory refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to circumvent payment/licensing checks, scrape or redistribute the question bank, or use the service in a way that disrupts it for other users.
No warranty
CertTrainer is a study aid, not a guarantee of exam results. Practice questions are written to reflect the published CompTIA exam objectives but are not official CompTIA material, and we make no guarantee you'll pass any exam after using the service. CertTrainer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA. CompTIA, Network+, and A+ are trademarks of the Computing Technology Industry Association. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
